Aviation Mechanical Component Shop Technician Air Control Technology Location Mississauga, ON Salary 43.30 hourly / 30 hours per week Full time Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift Starts as soon as possible Languages English Education College/CEGEP or equivalent experience Experience 2 years to less than 3 years Work must be completed at the physical Location. There is no option to work remotely. Work site environment Noisy Responsibilities: Adjust and repair systems according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals and established procedures Inspect maintenance work done by aircraft mechanics Repair and overhaul to ensure adherence to standards and procedures Troubleshoot aircraft mechanical systems Repair and overhaul aircraft structural, mechanical or hydraulic systems Maintain detailed repair, inspection and certification records and reports Dismantle airframes, aircraft engines or other aircraft systems for repair, overhaul and cleaning, and reassemble Perform and document routine maintenance Order and maintain inventory of parts and supplies Interpret blueprints/specifications/standards and written technical instructions Experience and specialization Computer and technology knowledge MS Office Aviation special processes Heat treatment Aircraft experience Large jet airplanes Large turboprops Small turboprops Type of industry experience Commercial air carrier Corporate aviation General aviation Military aviation Repair and overhaul facility Mechanical maintenance and repair specialization Aircraft maintenance to general Turbine engines Additional information Security and safety Criminal record check Transportation/travel information Valid driver's licence Work conditions and physical capabilities Physically demanding Handling heavy loads Standing for extended periods Attention to detail Bending, crouching, kneeling Hand-eye co-ordination Own tools/equipment Safety equipment/gear Steel-toed safety boots Personal suitability Accurate Dependability Flexibility Initiative Judgement Reliability Team player Until: 2026-05-13
