Toronto Commercial Risk Placement Team Lead

Elevate your career as a Team Lead in the Toronto SME Commercial Risk Placement Unit. This role offers the opportunity to mentor your team while effectively managing client needs. Our client is in search of a senior resource with three years of commercial insurance brokerage and leadership experience. Your role involves developing your team members, handling escalated files, and servicing a distinctive book of clients. Strong negotiation and analytical skills will be essential to deliver high-quality insurance programs. Key Responsibilities:
- Mentor Commercial SME Risk Placement Brokers as a senior resource
- Address and resolve file escalations quickly
- Support individual team member growth initiatives
- Manage and service an assigned book of commercial clients
- Analyze coverage gaps to enhance client insurance products
- Must hold an active RIBO license
- Minimum three years in commercial insurance brokerage
- Three years of Team Lead experience required
- Knowledge of specialized products is advantageous
- Additional industry qualifications would be beneficial
