A well -established and busy real estate brokerage based in <\/span><\/span> Oakville, Ontario <\/span><\/span><\/b> is seeking an experienced <\/span><\/span> Part -Time Controller / Senior Bookkeeper <\/span><\/span><\/b> with strong <\/span><\/span> Lone Wolf accounting experience <\/span><\/span><\/b> to support the day -to -day financial operations of the brokerage. <\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/p>
This role is ideal for someone who is highly detail -oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently in a fast -paced real estate environment. The successful candidate will have hands -on experience with brokerage accounting, trust accounting procedures, reconciliation processes, and commission review. <\/span><\/span>

This is a confidential search for a brokerage requiring immediate support and oversight on weekly accounting operations. <\/span><\/span>

Key Responsibilities <\/span><\/span>
<\/h2>- Weekly bank and trust account reconciliations <\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Reviewing commission and transaction entries for accuracy <\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Accounts payable and accounts receivable oversight <\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Payroll support and processing coordination <\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - HST tracking and remittance preparation <\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Monthly reconciliations and accounting cleanup <\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Weekly bank review and reporting for management <\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Reviewing closing activity on Tuesdays and Thursdays <\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Identifying discrepancies, missing entries, and reconciliation issues <\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Assisting with month -end accounting procedures as needed <\/span><\/span>

<\/h2>- Part -time contract position <\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Approximately 10 hours per week (may fluctuate slightly based on volume)<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - $45/hour <\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Remote or hybrid flexibility available, with occasional in -office support in Oakville as needed <\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Immediate start preferred <\/span><\/span>

Requirements <\/h3>- Direct experience using <\/span><\/span> Lone Wolf accounting software <\/span><\/span><\/b> is required <\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Previous real estate brokerage accounting experience strongly preferred <\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Strong understanding of trust accounting and commission structures <\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Excellent reconciliation and bookkeeping skills <\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - High level of confidentiality and professionalism <\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision <\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Strong organizational and reporting abilities <\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li> - Ontario brokerage accounting experience considered a strong asset <\/span><\/span>
