Role overview

As a SWIFT UI Developer at Cognizant, you will be involved from conception to launch crafting highly engaging, technologically sound and aesthetically impressive mobile applications for users at scale. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a fast paced, collaborative, geographically distributed team. We seek an expert developer who values the “team”, drives continuous improvement and is ready to accept challenge the status quo with creative mobile solutions.

What you'll do

• Hands on experience in developing mobile application using swift, preferably swiftUI .
• Experience in developing mobile apps which are - highly memory efficient, scalable, multi threaded application, usage of network/API calls, handling huge offline data, localization, etc
• Develop offline first application using core data/sqlite or (couchbase lite) etc, and write efficient SQL queries
• Good understanding of MVVM-clean design pattern, crafting custom frameworks, packages, integrating with external frameworks , dependency injection, unit tests
• Understanding of using source control systems like Git, Azure repo - branch/push/pull/merge/
• Familiarity with agile development process, ADO board etc,
• Understanding of react native development

What you bring to the role

• 7-10 years of Experience on SWIFT, Xcode and XCUITest
• Knowledge of Apple's design principles and application interface guidelines
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Experience wift Uin object-oriented programming concepts.
• Interested in learning new technology and trends in app development, willing to provide suggestions on UX, app design, follow standard methodologies and iOS apple guidelines.
