??The Client Support Specialist is responsible for troubleshooting first level requests/calls from hospital staff and physicians. Calls are taken either directly by telephone or re-directed through a queue for on-site support. They resolve basic technical questions and work on hardware/software issues related to individual computer access remotely and onsite?. The Client Support Specialist may also be responsible for monitoring the hospital?s Data Centre operations, to ensure availability, performance, security and reliability ? including operating procedures, system backups/restores and system maintenance procedures.

What we offer:

Rate of Pay: $29.01 per hour to $39.88 per hour

Status: Temporary Full-Time

Duration: 12 Months

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• 2-year college certificate or diploma in Science, Technology, Networking or related preferred
• One (1) to three (3) years' recent and relevant experience
• Excellent customer service and personal interaction skills
• Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
• Proficient problem resolution and troubleshooting skills and aptitude
• Proficient technical and analytical skills
• Knowledge of general hardware components, software applications and networking tools
• Knowledge of health care specific computer applications
• Demonstrated commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care
• Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to patient and staff safety
• Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC's vision, purpose and values
• Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
