Job Responsibility:
Role: IBM Filenet Developer Location: Toronto, ON Duration: Long Term Contract
Description:
- Minimum of 4 years (3 with a MS in Computer Science) experience in Java development
- Minimum of 3 years experience in J2EE (e.g. EJB, JSP, hibernate/JPA, Servlets, Portlets)
- Minimum of 3 years experience in FileNet (preferably 4.X or higher)
- Experience with database access technologies (e.g., SQL) including DB2 and Oracle
- Familiarity with client side UI technologies (e.g., HTML,CSS, Ajax/Dojo, JavaScript)
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Experience with the SDLC (Plan, Define, Design, etc.) in order to work outside of Agile where necessary. This will help at times when capturing/translating business needs (into technical capabilities and requirements, etc.) Desired Qualifications: Familiarity with UML (unified modeling language)Familiarity with software management methodologies (e.g., RUP, Agile Development-Scrum, Kanban)Familiarity with software engineering design patterns and best practicesFamiliarity with community frameworks (e.g., Spring, Struts, Hibernate)Familiarity with software configuration management tools Education Required: Bachelors Degree in a relevant discipline or similar life skills and acquired experience.
