Role Overview

The Software Developer is responsible for translating technical system specifications into working, tested applications. The role includes developing detailed programming specifications, writing and/or generating code, compiling data-driven programs, maintaining applications, and conducting unit testing.

The successful candidate will resolve and troubleshoot technical problems arising during the use and operation of software packages and provide technical assistance with implementation, conversion, and migration activities.

This is an onsite position, five days per week, during standard working hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding lunch breaks.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate technical system specifications into working, tested applications.

Additional Oracle Software Development Skills

• Experience conducting impact assessments on Oracle E-Business application customizations and extensions.
  
  
  


• Strong conversion experience in Accounts Receivable and Collections modules.
  
  
  


• Strong programming skills with Oracle Database, PL/SQL, SQL, XML, Unix shell scripts, and Oracle Data Integrator.
  
  
  


• Proven business knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Collections, Accounts Payable, and Inventory modules within Oracle E-Business.
  
  
  


• Strong knowledge of Oracle E-Business table structures related to GL, AR, Collections, AP, INV, and FND.
  
  
  


• Strong knowledge of SQL tuning and the use of partitioned tables.
  
  
  


• Demonstrated experience and understanding of data warehouses, ETL methodologies, and OBIEE.
  
  
  


• Demonstrated experience with Java and Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) is considered a strong asset.
  
  
  


• Strong verbal and written communication skills and leadership abilities to oversee project quality assurance from a technical perspective.
  
  
  

Technical Skills – 40%

• Experience with Agile methodologies.
  
  
  


• Experience with Dynamics 365, Microsoft Power Platform, and Azure solution design.
  
  
  


• Working knowledge of Dynamics interoperability, integration, and capabilities with other Microsoft cloud technologies.
  
  
  


• Working knowledge of both low-code and custom development on Dynamics 365.
  
  
  


• Working knowledge of Dataverse design and development.
  
  
  


• Working knowledge of development using Azure technologies.
  
  
  


• Working knowledge of .NET, C#, and JavaScript.
  
  
  


• Working knowledge of DevOps, task boards, pipelines, and related practices.

• Experience with cloud platforms including Azure, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform.

• Experience with custom Web API development, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Entity Framework, Azure SQL, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
  
  
  


• Proficiency across cloud service models including SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS.
  
  
  


• Dynamics 365 and Azure certifications are preferred.
  
  
  


• Experience with Agile methodologies, including Kanban/task boards.
