Our Calgary client is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst for an initial 6-month contract. In this role, you will join an inventive team evaluating next-generation technologies like XR, robotics, and digital fabrication to guide evidence-based decisions and enhance public services.

Responsibilities
• Design KPI frameworks and outcome measurement methods where standard metrics do not exist.
• Transform complex program data into clear performance narratives and executive reports.
• Build automated measurement processes and interactive performance dashboards.

• Conduct thorough benefits-realization analyses to evaluate new technology initiatives.
• Deliver program analytics that support leadership in making evidence-based choices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to test, evaluate, and understand emerging technologies.
• Translate trial results into actionable recommendations for scalable technology adoption.

Qualifications
• Minimum five years of experience in a senior business intelligence and data analytics role.
• Demonstrated expertise with BI platforms such as PowerBI or BusinessObjects and semantic layer design.
• Proven background in Kimball dimensional modeling, data warehousing, and database scripting using SQL Server or Oracle.
• Experience creating technical specifications, source-to-target mappings, and data integration workflows.
• Minimum three years of experience mentoring functional and technical team members on analytics solutions.
