Our Calgary client is seeking a Senior Project Manager for an initial 6-month contract to guide cutting-edge technology evaluation, experimentation, and pilot delivery.

Responsibilities
• Manage emerging technology experimentation requests from initial intake through the project lifecycle.
• Conduct triage assessment and requirement gathering for incoming innovation initiatives.
• Maintain detailed project tracking including schedules, risk logs, and issue documentation.
• Coordinate pilot projects aligned with defined procurement challenge frameworks.

• Provide regular status updates and clear project communications to key stakeholders.
• Support handoff and ongoing collaboration with client teams, contractors, and project leaders.
• Guide project decisions by gathering consensus across diverse business and technical groups.

Qualifications
• Eight or more years of IT project management experience following recognized industry standards such as the PMBOK guide.
• Five or more years managing medium to large technology projects with significant operational impact and organizational complexity.
• Five or more years leading multidisciplinary teams of internal IT staff, contractors, and external vendors.
• Five or more years handling project resource planning and team resourcing allocations.
• Proven experience managing projects in the public sector or large enterprise organizations with PMP certification preferred.
