Wellness Practioner

The Role 
We are excited to open our brand-new wellness center in Toronto, and we’re looking for Wellness Practitioner to be part of this launch. Wellness Practitioners provides deeply relaxing, non-therapeutic bodywork services that align with AIRE’s rituals, philosophy, and luxury standards. 

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service

• Perform relaxation massage treatments, including body and facial treatments, as well as exfoliation, following AIRE's established protocols and techniques for each.

• Communicate all relevant information about the treatment and the products used to the client, adhering to the provided manual and treatment protocols.

• Regularly check and maintain an adequate supply of all products required for the customer's experience, reporting any shortages or low stock of any product used in various treatments.

• Ensure consistency in providing the same experience when treatments are scheduled for couples and coordinate effectively with the partner therapist.

• Ensure that the environmental conditions, such as noise, temperature, and humidity, align with the standards specified in the protocols.

Workplace

• Maintain the work areas in pristine condition, ensuring they are clean and prepared for use in any customer experience, following the company's established protocols.

Operational Support

• Assist the Spa Attendant team with customer service, organization, and cleaning tasks as requested by them or department managers.

• Undertake any other assigned tasks within your scope of work.

Who you are:

• Certification or training in bodywork, holistic therapies, relaxation massage, Shiatsu, Thai bodywork, reflexology, or related wellness modalities, preferred

• 1 year experience providing relaxation massage services, required.

• Experience in spas, wellness centers, or holistic practices, preferred.

• Strong understanding of relaxation-based touch techniques.

• Must be available one (2) PM shift and one (1) weekend shift.

• Must have at least (3) days of availability.

• Possess excellent communication skills.

• Team player and team builder.

• Energetic, engaging, and eager to work.

• Willing to develop new skills and experiences.

• Punctual, reliable, and flexible with scheduling according to business needs.

• Courteous and respectful to visitors, clients, co-workers, and the leadership team.

• Willing to perform relaxation massages and body treatments per the company’s direction and standards. Training will be provided.

Toronto Location:

Amidst the timeless charm of Toronto’s Fashion District, AIRE finds its home in a historic Edwardian Classicism building, once the office and warehouse of the Copp Clark publishing company. Built in 1912 and later designated a heritage site, its original wood structure and towering pillars remain, preserving the character of its storied past that once held the art of printing and now embraces the art of relaxation.

Honoring its literary and industrial past, the space is adorned with vintage books, printing presses, which are subtle echoes of its history. AIRE Toronto offers a unique experience with a dry sauna and a Palestra, an indoor/outdoor bath area seamlessly connected to the interior through two jet baths, creating a tranquil escape where past and present merge in perfect harmony.
