Be pivotal in resolving debt issues as a Bilingual Collections Officer at Manulife Bank, operating in a remote capacity. We are seeking a Bilingual Collections Officer with 1-3 years of experience in collections, preferably mortgage-related. In this role, you will communicate fluently in both English and French, guiding clients through their debt resolution processes while adhering to provincial regulations. Your keen understanding of collection laws and customer engagement will be vital as you manage delinquent accounts and customer expectations. Key Responsibilities:
- Own the full collection process for past-due payments
- Negotiate effective repayment plans within company guidelines
- Review and analyze client accounts to assess repayment ability
- Manage complex account issues with precision and care
- Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with privacy standards
- 1-3 years of collections experience, ideally in mortgages
- Fully bilingual in French and English
