Job Responsibility:
CGI is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer with an expertise to develop advanced Apex classes, Lightning Web Components, and system integrations. This role combines hands-on development with emerging architectural responsibilities, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable technical solutions while contributing to release management and code optimization initiatives. This is a hybrid role working from any of our Atlantic Canada offices.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Develop advanced Apex classes and triggers
- Create complex Lightning Web Components
- Manage basic system integrations
- Participate in architectural design discussions
- Develop and maintain test classes
- Optimize existing code for performance
- Collaborate with business stakeholders
- Support release management processes
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- 4-6 years of Salesforce development experience
- Advanced Apex and LWC development skills
- Understanding of integration patterns
- Experience with SOQL and performance optimization
- Strong debugging capabilities
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Multiple Salesforce certifications - i.e., Salesforce Platform Developer II certification
- Emerging architectural thinking
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Active participation in Salesforce community
- Growing technical leadership skills
- Continuous learner
