Summary

As a Data Analyst / Data Architect (AI), you will play a critical role in shaping how high‑quality, well‑governed data enables advanced analytics and AI‑driven solutions. In this 1-year fixed term role , you will work at the intersection of data architecture, analytics, and emerging AI use cases, ensuring data is structured, documented, and trusted to support intelligent decision‑making across the organization.

What will your typical day look like?

Your day will involve partnering closely with analytics, data science, and engineering teams to design and maintain logical and physical data models that support AI and advanced analytics initiatives. You will define and manage data dictionaries, ensuring clear, consistent definitions of data elements, attributes, and relationships across enterprise and domain‑specific datasets.

You will lead efforts to map attributes to source documents and downstream data assets, enabling traceability, explainability, and auditability—particularly critical for AI and machine‑learning use cases. As part of modern data platform initiatives, you will support and advise on the use of vector databases to enable semantic search, embeddings, and retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) patterns.

In addition, you will define, implement, and monitor data quality rules to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data used for analytics and AI models. You will collaborate with stakeholders to resolve data quality issues, improve upstream processes, and continuously enhance the reliability of data products delivered to the business.

You are someone with these skills, experience and qualifications:

• Proven experience in data analysis and data architecture, supporting analytics and AI‑driven use cases.
• Strong hands‑on experience creating and maintaining data dictionaries, including clear definitions, ownership, and data lineage.
• Demonstrated expertise in data modeling (logical and physical) to support analytics, AI, and reporting solutions.
• Experience with attribute‑to‑document and attribute‑to‑source mapping, enabling traceability, explainability, and audit readiness.
• Working knowledge of vector databases and their application in AI use cases such as semantic search and retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG).
• Strong understanding of data quality principles, with experience defining, implementing, and monitoring data quality rules.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Experience supporting analytics, AI, or machine‑learning initiatives is considered an asset.

Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $72,000 - $138,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
