Job Responsibility: Solutions Architect - OpsGuru (a Carbon60 Company)

Within these teams, the AI Solutions Architect leads the design and delivery of production-grade AI solutions—including generative AI, machine learning, and intelligent data pipelines—while maintaining a systems-thinking approach that ties technical decisions to business outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities Project Leadership & Delivery Provide deep technical expertise in designing and deploying end-to-end AI/ML and GenAI solutions.

• Lead the Design and Build phases of AI solution architectures on AWS (and other public clouds) that include foundation models, orchestration frameworks (e.g. LangChain, DSPy), vector databases, and RAG pipelines.
• Guide technical discovery sessions with clients to identify high-impact AI use cases and define delivery plans.
• Collaborate with Principal Consultants, Pre-sales, SME's and customer stakeholders to translate business goals into scalable technical designs.
• Act as the technical mentor for AI Engineers and Data Scientists on the team.

Architecture & Design

• Architect Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems using AWS Bedrock, OpenAI and other vector DBs.
• Design AI agent workflows and orchestration pipelines leveraging LangChain, DSPy, or custom frameworks.
• Integrate MLOps and LLMOps best practices, including model monitoring, retraining, and automated deployments.
• Support AI use cases including: Natural language interfaces (chatbots, question-answering)Document understanding (OCR/IDP) Search and summarization Enterprise automation using LLM agents
• Design scalable data and feature pipelines to support ML/AI workloads using tools like Glue, Step Functions, and S3.

Technical Thought Leadership

• Stay current on foundational models, vector search advancements, and GenAI frameworks.
• Evaluate and prototype new tools (e.g., OpenAI Agents SDK, Claude, Mistral, etc.) for enterprise use.
• Contribute to internal playbooks and reusable templates to accelerate AI adoption across projects.
• Promote responsible AI practices including data governance, privacy, transparency, and fairness.

Required Qualifications

Technical:

5+ years of experience in designing and delivering AI/ML solutions in cloud environments (AWS preferred).

• Deep hands-on experience with: AWS SageMaker, Bedrock, Step Functions, Lambda Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines Vector databases such as FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate AI orchestration frameworks like LangChain, DSPy
• Strong Python and SQL programming skills
• Familiarity with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn
• Experience with containerized workloads, CI/CD, and monitoring
• Exposure to data lakes, real-time streaming systems, and batch ETL

Consulting:

• Proven experience in a client-facing delivery role in consulting or professional services
• Ability to lead discovery workshops and present AI architectures to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong communication, documentation, and mentoring skills
• Experience working with compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.) is a plus

Nice to Have

• Databricks: Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow
• Familiarity with Airflow, DBT, or similar orchestration tools
• Understanding of cloud data architectures and governance frameworks
• Experience with GenAI-powered automation in business processes
