Become a key player at Técnicas Reunidas Canada as a Senior Mechanical/Metallurgy Engineer. You'll focus on large-scale EPC projects, emphasizing design accuracy and material integrity across Alberta and British Columbia. In your senior engineering role, you'll guide the development of mechanical designs and oversee compliance with industry standards. Your responsibilities will include selecting suitable materials for specialized applications and mentoring engineering staff. You'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution and adherence to safety regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Finalize mechanical engineering designs including specifications
- Approve engineering documents and material selection reports
- Evaluate metallurgical requirements for specialized conditions
- Ensure full compliance with provincial regulatory standards
- Mentor junior engineers on code compliance and design principles
- Bachelor's in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering
- Registered P.Eng. with APEGA or EGBC
- 10+ years in mechanical engineering in EPC environments
- Familiarity with industry codes such as ASME and API
- Must be based in Calgary or willing to relocate
