Were looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Optometric Assistant to join our clinic team. This role blends patient care, clinical support, and front-desk responsibilities  perfect for someone who enjoys working with people and wants to grow in a healthcare environment.

What Youll Do
As an Optometric Assistant, youll help create a smooth and welcoming experience for our patients while supporting the clinical and optical team. Your responsibilities will include:
Welcome patients and guide them through their visit
Collect medical and vision history information
Assist with pre-testing using ophthalmic equipment
Clean, prepare, and maintain clinical instruments and rooms
Support doctors with patient flow and basic testing procedures
Book and confirm appointments
Process insurance claims and payments
Manage patient records and paperwork

Enjoy working with people and providing excellent service
Are organized and comfortable multitasking in a busy clinic
Have strong communication and problem-solving skills
Are comfortable learning new technology and systems
Work well both independently and as part of a team
Experience in optical, medical, retail, or reception roles is an asset  but were happy to train the right person.
