The National Native Alcohol and Drug Abuse Program (NNADAP) Worker is responsible for promoting mental wellness, preventing substance misuse, supporting individuals and families affected by addictions, and facilitating access to culturally appropriate healing and recovery services within The Key First Nation.
The NNADAP Worker provides prevention, intervention, education, outreach, referral, aftercare, and support services that address alcohol and drug misuse, mental wellness concerns, and related social issues. Working collaboratively with community members, Elders, Knowledge Keepers, healthcare professionals, schools, and external service providers, the NNADAP Worker supports holistic wellness through culturally grounded, trauma-informed, and community-based approaches. The position plays an important role in promoting healthy lifestyles, strengthening community wellness, supporting recovery journeys, and enhancing the overall well-being of individuals, families, and the community.Vacancy posted 17 hours ago
