Join QE Homes vibrant retail team and help shape the guest experience in one of Canadas most beloved home décor destinations. As an Assistant Store Manager youll support the Store Manager in driving store performance inspiring your team and delivering exceptional guest service. Your leadership will play a vital role in creating a warm welcoming environment that reflects our brands commitment to comfort style and quality.

Must have Sunday availability.

What Youll Be Working On

• Support ing the Store Manager in daily operations including sales merchandising team leadership and guest experience.

• Provid ing coaching and feedback to team members to help them meet performance goals and grow professionally.

• Foster ing a positive and inclusive work environment that aligns with QE Homes values.

• Meet ing or exceeding daily weekly and monthly sales targets.

• Lead ing by example on the sales floor delivering exceptional service and product knowledge.

• Ensur ing visual merchandising standards are consistently met and exceeded.

• Help ing recruit train and onboard new team members.

• Assist ing in inventory management and loss prevention initiatives.

• Step ping into the Store Manager role in their absence to ensure operational continuity.

The Physical Side of the Role

• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours.

• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to shift push reach stretch twist bend pull or maneuver weight over 50 lbs. to fold stock and build or display addition you may be required to change beds including moving a mattress to put on a bed skirt.

• Comfortable climbing ladder s for merchandising and stock.

What Will Set You Up for Success

• 2 years of retail experience with at least 1-2 year s in a supervisory role.

• A strong passion for home décor design and creating beautiful spaces.

• Ability to coach motivate and inspire a diverse team.

• Clear and confident communication skills both verbal and written.

• Experience using POS systems and working in a fast-paced retail setting.

• Strong organizational and operational skills.

• A hands-on leadership style.
