Small Parts Shipper

Job Responsibility: This position is On-site in Delta currently then moving to Richmond Later in the year. Your Purpose: As the Parts Shipper, you will be responsible for checking, packing, and shipping of daily parts orders. What you'll be doing:

• Checking and packaging parts for sales orders
• Ship orders through the ERP and with various Carriers, both domestic and international.
• Daily report of parts orders into the system
• Maintain safe work practices by using all required safety equipment and procedures
• Maintain work area in a neat and orderly manner to facilitate efficient fabrication processes and good safety practices
• Create labels and arrange pick up of returning goods
• Help with crating/packaging as needed
• Follow-up on daily outgoing shipments
• Occasional loading and unloading with a forklift
• Carries out other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• You have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• You have experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• You can lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• You are proficient in basic computer programming and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• You have excellent organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
• You have strong attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• You can work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative during slower periods.
• You can interact respectfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

Preferred:

• Logistics experience
• You have a basic understanding of customs and transport regulations.
• You have experience using a forklift, ERP systems, and shipping software.
