Process Coordinator

We are currently seeking a highly organized and motivated Process Coordinator who will be responsible for picking shipments, preparing shipping documents, setting up freight appointments, as well as loading and unloading trucks. They will have to follow our high regard for workplace safety rules. They must be able to perform and assist with day-to-day duties of Shipper/Receiver, when required. They will issue purchase orders and receive raw materials in our internal systems. They will need to follow up with suppliers on open PO's and perform duties with speed and precision. Any other duties assigned by our Shipper/Receiver, Plant Manager or Management.
Essential Job Functions
- Prepare shipping paperwork (BOL, Packing List, Commercial Invoice).
- Help to order pick. Load and unload trucks and track shipments in the shipping logbook or the receiving logbook.
- Checking and verifying incoming raw materials and outgoing product quantity and inform Shipper/QC if any evident issues. Inform QC to inspect received raw materials before storing at dedicated location.
- Call freight carriers for quotes and arrange shipping appointments for pick up.
- Issue PO based on internal forms.
- Match supplier invoices against products received and verify prices and quantities. Send processed invoices to necessary internal teams for approval.
- Once orders are shipped, fulfill shipments in internal systems. Provide shipping paperwork to Order Entry for invoicing.
Requirements For The Role
- Highschool diploma or general education degree
- 1-2 years of working experience in shipping and/or manufacturing
- Familiarity with MS Office
- Forklift certification, an asset
