Housing NWT is seeking an exceptional leader to serve as its next Director of Policy and Planning.
This is where strategic thinking meets meaningful action. You'll lead policy development, legislative initiatives, planning, and communications while providing expert advice on issues that matter to Northerners. From Cabinet briefings to Indigenous government partnerships and self-government implementation, your work will influence decisions at the highest levels.

Key QualificationsCompletion of a university degree in social science or related field as well as a postgraduate diploma with at least 5 years of progressive experience, preferably in government, including at least 3 years of supervisor/management experience
Equivalencies
A university degree in a related field and at least 7 years of directly related experience in lieu of a post-graduate diploma
A college level diploma in a related field and at least 10 years of progressively responsible directly related experience, including three in a supervisory or management capacity
Relevant education includes:
Business Administration, Economics, Indigenous Governance, Law, Political Science, Public Administration, Public Policy, Social Sciences
Relevant experience includes:
Advising senior executives, Budget management, Policy development and analysis, Preparation of briefing materials, Program oversight, Stakeholder relations, Strategic planning,
