Pediatric Neurologist/Epileptologist with Research Opportunities Available

Shape the future of pediatric neurology as a specialized Pediatric Neurologist/Epileptologist. Engage in diagnosing and treating complex neurological conditions while contributing to leading-edge research and clinical practice. This role is ideal for a dynamic individual committed to child health and pediatric epilepsy. Responsibilities include diagnosing neurological disorders, prescribing treatment, and consulting with peers to enhance patient care. The position also includes a teaching component, with an opportunity for appointment as Assistant Professor at an academic institution. Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat pediatric neurological diseases
- Prescribe medications and recommend treatments
- Order lab tests and diagnostic procedures
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Participate in research initiatives in pediatric neurology
- Doctor of Medicine in Pediatrics required
- Completion of neonatal neurology and epilepsy fellowships
- Eligible for certification with Canada’s Royal College
- Registration with provincial regulatory body required
- Experience in pediatric neurology preferred
