About Our Opportunity

We’re hiring a highly creative and innovative problem solver for our Operations Analyst role. This is a critical role where you will provide operational and procedural support to staff at Opportunity and Social Development who are accountable for the delivery of core social programs.

 

Your role as an Analyst directly impacts service delivery to clients.

Primary Accountabilities

You will focus on client service support and excellence, along with operational and business analysis. A few of your key responsibilities will include:

• assessing and evaluating business and operational procedures,
• defining options analysis,
• and recommending system and operational solution changes
• prioritizing ICM, CCM and other Operational requests

 

You will also create and execute user acceptance testing for ICM and CCM system changes.

Qualifications and Experience

We are seeking a creative team player who continually improves and innovates in their work. As our next Operations Analyst, you also have a related bachelor’s degree and one (1) year of related experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered. 
 
You also have experience in the following areas:

• Supporting case management systems and system users.
• Developing and improving business processes, procedures, and support materials.
• Identifying, investigating, and resolving operational and system issues.
• Recommending service improvements and system enhancements.
• Providing guidance on policies, processes, and procedures to support program and client outcomes.
• Managing multiple competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

 

Previous experience with ICM, CCM, SharePoint, and knowledge of Department of Opportunities and Social Development (OSD) programs would be considered a strong asset.

You thrive in a collaborative environment and possess advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and other business tools. You have a proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, fostering collaboration to support operational and program objectives. Your strong analytical and problem-solving abilities enable you to exercise sound judgment when addressing complex issues, identifying opportunities for improvement, and recommending practical solutions. You are highly organized, capable of managing multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while consistently meeting deadlines and maintaining a high standard of accuracy. In addition, you possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrate a strong commitment to confidentiality when handling sensitive personal and departmental information.

Equivalency

• Completion of a related master’s degree
• Completion of a related 2-year diploma and 3 years related experience
• At least 5 years of related experience

Working Conditions

Most of your time is spent in a comfortable office setting. Your normal work week is 35 hours/week, 7 hours/day.

Additional Information

This is a TERM employment opportunity with an anticipated end date of February 18, 2028.  The appointment status (‘term’, ‘temporary’ or ‘casual’) is dependent on the start date of the successful candidate.

Pay Grade:PR 06 - PR 10  

Salary Range:  $2,112.87 - $3,029.89 Bi-Weekly
