Financial Reporting Consultant -- IFRS/US GAAP

Our client is a looking to add to their team a Financial Reporting Consultant -- IFRS/US GAAP . If you are available and can commit to an 8-9 months engagement that is deep with financial accounting and reporting, please let us know. As the Financial Reporting Consultant -- IFRS/US GAAP you will be responsible for:
- Restate prior year statements from IFRS to US GAAP
- Assisting the director / senior manager with financial reporting related tasks in relation to the conversion
- Perform detailed reconciliations between IFRS and US GAAP accounting treatments to ensure accuracy in restated figures
- Analyze historical data and transactions to identify necessary adjustments in accordance with US GAAP standards
- Document all conversion adjustments and maintain thorough audit trails for transparency and compliance purposes
- CPA designation
- Big 4 firm experience
- IFRS and mining industry knowledge is an asset
- 3+ years of related work experience is an asset
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- SAP, OneStream and Workiva experience an asset
