About the role

We're looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our growing team! What you'll do here:

• Develop sourcing strategies for business initiatives and commodities that support overall Intact's innovation strategies.
• Leverage on effective market intelligence and cost modelling to develop and support negotiation strategies.
• Lead proposal (RFX) process for high complexity and high-risk transactions/agreements.
• Develop and maintain partnership approach with suppliers.
• Develop supplier key performance indicators and service level agreements that drive value and optimization.
• Support the implementation of procurement continuous improvement projects.

What you bring to the table:

• A minimum of 5 years of related experience in complex procurement projects and strategic sourcing.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
• Deep understanding of strategic sourcing principles and P2P processes along with the ability to apply this knowledge to execute projects and optimize strategies.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Strong skills in critical thinking, decision-making, problem solving, and attention to details.
• No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
