Plant Administrator

Our client a major manufacturer office office furniture in the GTA is seeking a administrator to help with their busy operation.
Requirements are as follows:
Work with Specials department Leadhands to Maintain and prioritize the daily shipping list.
Update completion of rush orders and parts that need to be sent out for additional processing with outside suppliers.
Enter production orders into the system and print shipping tags for each item.
Check stock is up to date and inform cycle counter to make adjustments in the system as required.
Supply and distribute the pre-shift checklist and daily production sheets for all the machines.
Backup for Leadhands
Perform all other duties reasonable to the position, as assigned by the Production Supervisor.
Must be able to be:
· Proficient computer knowledge and skills (Word, Excel, Google, BAAN)
· High degree of interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
· Good decision making skills
· Good analytical and problem solving skills
· Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
· Detail-orientated
· Identify and report any hazard(s) in their workplace
· Consistently follows EHS general rules and procedures and is aware of the EHS policy and Quality requirements
· Demonstrates good initiative for working safely, reporting hazards, and participating in EHS.
Pay $20 per hour
