Job Responsibility: General Information:
The Cowichan Valley Regional District is now accepting applications for a casual Theatre Front of House opportunitiy at the Cowichan Performing Arts Centre in the Arts & Culture Division within the Community Services Department. Reporting to the Manager, Arts and Culture Division, and supervised by the Theatre Facilitator, the Theatre Front of House Manager coordinates the Front of House volunteers and staff and supervises the execution of Front of House duties for the Cowichan Performing Arts Centre Theatre to provide for the comfort, enjoyment and safety of theatre patrons and volunteer ushers.
Qualifications:- Formal education or training in a theatrical customer services environment is an asset.
- A minimum of two years of experience providing customer service and/or performing theatre public relations work, or a combination of related education, training and experience.
- Experience supervising and working with volunteers.
- First Aid Level I with CPR
