Procurement Purchaser Buyer

Job Responsibility:

Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing and Procurement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials to ensure the smooth operation of our supply chain.

Duties:- Source and procure materials, goods, and services needed for production or operations- Negotiate pricing with vendors to secure favorable terms- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials- Utilize MRP systems to manage inventory levels and track orders- Fabricate purchase orders and contracts- Monitor vendor performance and maintain strong vendor relationships- Implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining quality standards- Oversee the procurement process from requisition to delivery

Experience:- Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management- Strong negotiation skills and ability to secure competitive pricing- Familiarity with MRP systems and procurement software- Knowledge of vendor management best practices- Ability to analyze market trends and make informed purchasing decisions

Nice-to-have Skills:- Experience in fabricating purchase orders and contracts- Proficiency in supply chain management principles- Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors- Knowledge of procurement systems and processes- Experience in vendor management and relationship building
