Medicine Hat College invites applications for a full-time, on-going Student Services Assistant III (Admissions Clerk). This position will be an integral part of our Admissions team, contributing to the smooth processing of domestic admission applications for the college.

A little about the role:

Reporting directly to the Coordinator of Admissions & Recruitment, the main focus of this role is managing the entire process of domestic admission applications. This includes efficiently creating and evaluating applicant files, as well as overseeing transcript requests and promptly responding to any admission-related inquiries. Details:

As a successful applicant you'll have:

• An Administrative Office Certificate OR an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
• Previous experience in an administrative role or a similar student services position would be advantageous.
• Excellent organizational skills, enabling you to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in using computer applications and software.

Terms of Employment

Hours of Work: 35 hours per week

Rate of Pay: $23.55 per hour (Start Rate); $26.77 per hour (Job Rate)
