Estimator for Mid/High-rise Projects in Toronto

Shape the future of urban development as an Estimator with a renowned residential developer in Toronto. This role emphasizes construction budgeting and cost management for mid and high-rise projects within the Greater Toronto Area. Seeking an Intermediate or Senior Estimator with over three years of experience, you will oversee cost planning and support budgeting tasks. You'll collaborate closely with various teams, including development, construction, and finance, to ensure project success. Your expertise in estimating will be key to managing multi-million dollar developments effectively. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of multi-million dollar project budgets
- Review design documents and conduct detailed quantity take-offs
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis for strategic initiatives
- Drive value engineering opportunities for efficiency
- Guide junior estimators as needed
- Minimum 3 years estimating experience in residential projects
- Degree in architecture, engineering, or construction
- Proficient in quantity take-offs and construction software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
