Senior Specialist, Paid Media

Our client, a large enterprise financial organization, is seeking a Senior Specialist, Paid Media for a 12 months Contract opportunity within their Digital Paid Media team. This is a hybrid role based in downtown Toronto, supporting the execution, optimization, and measurement of digital paid media campaigns across multiple lines of business. The role will act as the account owner and primary point of contact for platform execution activities, driving performance against defined KPIs and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead campaign setup, launch, and optimization activities across programmatic channels (primarily DV360)
- Define, monitor, and optimize media KPIs, pacing, and performance metrics
- Manage reporting, analyze campaign performance, and provide actionable strategic insights
- Serve as primary contact for execution-based platform activity and troubleshooting
- Partner with internal marketing teams and external agencies to deliver holistic media strategies
- Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, testing, and optimization initiatives
- Ensure campaigns align with business goals, regulatory standards, and client experience expectations.
- 3+ years of paid media experience, with strong expertise in Programmatic campaign management
- 3+ years defining, monitoring, and analyzing KPIs with clear performance reporting
- 3+ years of stakeholder management experience across internal teams and agency partners
- Working knowledge or certification in at least two platforms (DV360 preferred, Amazon DSP, Yahoo DSP, CM360)
- Strong analytical mindset with digital savviness and adaptability to evolving tools and trends
- Experience within financial services or wealth management
- Familiarity with social and search advertising platforms
- Innovative and strategic thinking with ability to identify competitive trends
- Experience collaborating across multiple digital channels or mentoring junior team members.
