Lead HVDC Project Engineer Position
Stantec Consulting International Ltd.
Transform power systems as a Lead HVDC Project Engineer. Focused on delivering exceptional engineering design, technical assessments, and commissioning support across global projects. This senior engineering opportunity emphasizes innovation in HVDC and FACTS applications. You will be responsible for conducting detailed engineering assessments, preparing tenders, and witnessing tests. Engaging with technical committees and developing business proposals is also crucial, establishing your reputation as a leader in the field. Key Responsibilities:
- Execute engineering design for HVDC/FACTS systems
- Prepare specifications and evaluate project tenders
- Oversee factory testing and support on-site activities
- Represent in technical committees and industry discussions
- Conduct presentations and publish technical works
- Required: BSc in electrical engineering
- Minimum 15 years' experience; 10 years in HVDC/FACTS
- Strong technical acumen and knowledge of standards
- Excellent writing and speaking abilities
- Willingness to travel is necessary
