Lead Mechanical Project Engineer in Ontario

Drive engineering excellence at Bruce Power as a Lead Mechanical Project Engineer. This full-time position demands expertise in Nuclear operations and robust project management skills across plant modifications. As a Lead Mechanical Project Engineer, you will oversee the technical aspects of planning, development, execution, and commissioning of plant modifications. Your role emphasizes strong collaboration across workgroups and ensuring adherence to safety and quality throughout project phases. You’ll leverage your background in Electrical Hardware and Process Control Systems to facilitate project success. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage projects ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards
• Oversee all project phases from concept to start-up
• Provide technical instruction and ensure adherence to quality policies
• Review and prioritize engineering/maintenance plans
• Produce accurate control system designs and quantify project requirements

Requirements:

• 4-year Mechanical Engineering degree required
• 2-4 years of Project Engineering experience preferred
• Experience in the Nuclear sector is an asset
• Knowledge of regulatory codes and industry standards
• Ability to obtain P.Eng. in Ontario
