Working closely with investment, corporate and commercial banking, the team serves as product experts with a coverage universe including foreign exchange, interest rate and equity derivatives, structured finance, equity linked securities and commodities.JOB PURPOSE:Reporting directly to the Director & Head, Canadian Commercial FX Sales, this position is a client facing role, responsible for quoting, executing and designing/presenting foreign exchange risk management solution transactions for mid/large-sized commercial entities across Canada. The candidate contributes to the overall profitability of the Foreign Exchange Group through the maintenance of strong relationships with commercial clients, internal partners and by ensuring proactive engagement within the client segment.KEY ACCOUNTABILITY AREAS:1) Commercial Client FX Sales.Provide pricing of foreign exchange currencies to Bank of Montreal commercial client segmentQuote & execute spot, forward, swap & options trades.Proactively engage commercial banking clients with FX trade ideas & risk management solutions.Utilize data analysis skillset & internal relationships to identify new client opportunities.Provide demos of Online Banking for Business (OLBB) to clients and troubleshoot issuesAssist with onboarding & regulatory requirements for new clientsResearch and analyze financial market data; summarize data for recent trends and market developments2) Systems and Information ManagementUtilize Bloomberg & internal currency pricing tools & systems.Assist mid-market group with electronic systemsUse appropriate systems to accurately price FX products & monitor credit exposures.Incorporate AI tools to improve efficiencies.KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:KnowledgeAn undergraduate degree with outstanding academic achievementSpecific academic coursework in finance, economics, math, engineering or accountingStrong understanding of, and keen interest in, the operation of the financial marketsRelevant experience within financial markets in a client facing role is preferredFamiliarity with basic derivatives including options and swapsSkillsStrong interpersonal skills to work with team members, other groups, and clients. Need to be personable, confident, credible.Highly developed professional written and oral communication skills with a proactive mindsetExcellent analytical skillsStrong attention to detailExpertise in financial computer applications and database management tools including MS Excel. Le candidat contribue à la rentabilité globale de l’équipe Opérations de change en entretenant de solides relations avec les entreprises clientes et les partenaires internes et en assurant une mobilisation proactive au sein du segment de clientèle.PRINCIPAUX DOMAINES DE RESPONSABILITÉ1) Ventes liées aux opérations de change auprès des entreprises clientes.Communiquer la tarification des devises au segment des entreprises clientes de la Banque de Montréal.Proposer et exécuter des opérations au comptant, des opérations à livraison différée, des swaps et des opérations sur options.Mobiliser de façon proactive les clients des Services bancaires aux grandes entreprises au moyen d’idées d’opérations de change et de solutions de gestion des risques.Utiliser ses compétences en analyse des données et ses relations internes pour repérer de nouvelles occasions pour les clients.Faire des démonstrations des Services bancaires en ligne pour entreprises (SBLE) aux clients et résoudre les problèmes.Apporter son aide à l’égard des exigences d’intégration et réglementaires applicables aux nouveaux clients.Rechercher et analyser des données sur les marchés financiers. Résumer les données relatives aux tendances récentes et à l’évolution des marchés.2) Gestion des systèmes et de l’informationUtiliser les outils de Bloomberg ainsi que les outils et systèmes internes d’établissement des cours de change.Aider les moyennes entreprises avec les systèmes électroniques.Utiliser les systèmes appropriés pour établir la tarification exacte des produits de change et surveiller le risque de crédit.Intégrer des outils d’IA pour améliorer l’efficience.CONNAISSANCES ET COMPÉTENCESConnaissancesDiplôme de premier cycle démontrant des résultats scolaires exceptionnels.Cursus universitaire en finance, en économie, en mathématiques, en ingénierie ou en comptabilité.Solide compréhension du fonctionnement des marchés financiers et vif intérêt pour ce dernier.Expérience pertinente au sein des marchés financiers dans un poste en contact avec la clientèle est souhaitable.Connaissance des produits dérivés de base, y compris les options et les swaps.CompétencesSolides aptitudes interpersonnelles pour travailler avec les membres de l’équipe, les autres groupes et les clients.
