- Charger, décharger et transporter des matériaux de construction
- Manoeuvrer des grues automotrices et des grues à tour afin de lever, de déplacer et de mettre en place de l'équipement et des matériaux
- Effectuer une inspection préopérationnelle
- Lire les plans pour déterminer les exigences du travail
- Mélanger, verser et étaler des matériaux tels que le béton et l'asphalte
- Niveler la terre selon les spécifications de nivellement fin
- Asphalter et racler l'asphalte
- Nettoyer et empiler les matériaux récupérés
- Enlever les moellons et autres débris sur les chantiers de construction
- Diriger la circulation sur le chantier de construction ou à proximité de ce dernier
- Établir l'horaire de travail des employés, déterminer des exigences en matière d'outils et d'équipement
- Déterminer les exigences en matière de tuyauterie et de grosseur de tuyaux
- Mesurer, couper, tarauder et plier les tuyaux dans la forme et la grandeur requis
- Déterminer et marquer l'emplacement des raccords des tuyaux, des trous pour le passage des tuyaux dans les murs et les planchers ainsi que les accessoires
- Pratiquer, dans les murs et les planchers, des ouvertures de diamètre convenant aux tuyaux et aux accessoires de tuyauterie
- Joindre les tuyaux avec des raccords, des colliers de serrage, des vis, des boulons ou du matériel de collage, de brasage ou de soudage
- Vérifier les tuyaux à l'aide de manomètres pour déceler les fuites
