Branch Manager NJ

Overview

TecServ is a service provider for all floor care, material handling and refuse/recycling equipment to the "large retail" industry. Currently, TecServ has 5 branch locations and an ever-growing Affiliate Service Provider Network nation-wide. TecServ's main location is located in Blackwood, NJ and is part of Kärcher North America, a global leader in building and equipment maintenance. KNA is comprised of 6 integrated companies- Windsor Industries, ProChem, C-Tech, Tecserv, Graco and Century 400. We are currently seeking a self-motivated Branch Manager who will be based at our flagship branch in Blackwood, New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all aspects of business in the branch, managing and motivating all employees to achieve branch and corporate objectives.
• Coordinate with Call Center Dispatch agents to create routes for the road mechanics and drivers, and prioritize their work to enable an efficient, cost effective operation, keeping customer satisfaction as the primary focus.
• Monitor all aspects of Payroll, control overtime usage submit weekly payroll reports.
• Maintain control and full understanding of the P&L statements, utilize “out of the box” thinking to control costs and build new revenue streams.
• Work in partnership with the sales force to develop new territories, sell new equipment, and secure associated service contracts.
• Partner with sales in the development of distributor, commercial and government accounts
• Train and counsel employees to achieve desired production and growth levels.
• Interact with customers on a regular basis at all levels to assure customer expectations are being met.
• Develop field and shop mechanics through the use of “riding exercises”, providing constructive feedback to improve work habits.

Requirements

• The qualified candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree or four to 10 years of directly related experience coupled with at least 8 years’ experience in a customer service/operations environment with a minimum of 3 years at the management level, must be customer focused, have the ability to be a multi-tasker self-starter, extreme interpersonal and communication skills, highly organized, have the ability to plan, execute and accomplish stated objectives and have extreme problem solving skills both conceptual and practical (mechanical)Previous experience in the floor care industry is a plus.
