Location: Ottawa and Surrounding Areas
The Choice Homecare Team has over a decade of experience since 2011 serving families in the Ottawa area. From companionship services through complex care, we help families by delivering customized and well-rounded care that honours their wish to stay home safely. Our housekeepers are important members of the home care team and workunder the supervision of theCare Manager. Housekeepers perform various non-personal care services necessary to meet the client’s needs.
Responsibilitiesinclude, but are not limited to:
- Vacuuming
- Dusting
- Laundry
- Mopping
- Cleaning Bathrooms
- Cleaning Kitchens
- Organizing
- Meal Preparation
Choice Homecare requires candidates who:
- Are proficientin communicatingin English (verbal and written)
- Have high school diploma or higher
- Have a valid police vulnerable sectors check (completed within the past 12 months) - must
- Can work independently under minimal supervision
- Have a negative TB skin test or chest x-ray (completed within the past 12 months) - must
- Have valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle with proof of insurance - must
- Are Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or temporary residentsof Canada with a valid work permit with a minimum of six months priorto expiration.
- Are available to work every other weekend
- Have internet access through a mobile device
- Have high energy and drive to deliver excellent service through strong communication skills
- Ability to speak other languages is an asset
