Finance and Credit Manager

Job Responsibility:

Pinnacle International is seeking a Senior Finance and Credit Manager Director with experience in the real estate industry. The successful candidate will be based out of Vancouver, BC overseeing Pinnacle's Finances with a main focus on the AR portfolio which includes US & Canadian residential, commercial and parking receivables.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory bodies for Finance and AR accounts

2. Evaluate customer credit applications and financial situations

3. Develop and implement credit risk management strategies

4. Lead a team of credit clerks to ensure efficient operations Manage and oversee the accounts receivable process, including rent collections and tenant billing

5. Implement and ensure effective collection strategies to minimize delinquencies

6. Collaborate with sales and finance teams to resolve credit issues

7. Prepare monthly rent statements as needed

8. Review and monitor tenant accounts to ensure timely payments

9. Reconcile tenant accounts and resolve any discrepancies on a timely basis

10. Produce weekly accounts receivable aging reports for regular review

11. Willing to take on ad hoc finance and miscellaneous projects as needed

Experience:

1. Accounting designation is required (CPA, CMA, CGA)

2. 5+ years of accounts receivable experience in a senior role

3. Experience with collections in the real estate industry is preferred

4. Proven experience in credit management, accounts receivable, and accounts payable

5. Strong budgeting and risk management skills

6. Knowledge of corporate finance principles

7. Excellent verbal and written communication and proficiency in English

8. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with the team

9. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

10. Strong attention to detail and accuracy with data entry

11. Excellent organizational and time management skills

12. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $120,000.00 per year
