Senior Accountant

Were seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee financial reporting and daily accounting for our properties and corporate entities. Youll provide accurate financial information, strengthen processes, and support property operations and business decisions.

What youll do
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
Reconcile bank accounts, resolve discrepancies, and maintain supporting records.
Review payables, receivables, tenant balances, and general ledger activity.
Support budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and variance analysis.
Report results to management and property owners, explaining key changes and outstanding items.
Coordinate year-end and tax documentation with external accountants.
Maintain internal controls and improve accounting procedures.
Work with property managers to resolve accounting questions and support accounting team members.

What you bring
Diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
At least five years of progressive accounting experience, including financial reporting and month-end close.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, and internal controls.
Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and discretion with confidential information.
Ability to manage deadlines, work independently, and communicate collaboratively.

Preferred qualifications
CPA designation or progress toward completion.
Property management, real estate, or multi-entity accounting experience.
Familiarity with property management accounting systems.
