Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking an organized and conscientious candidate to join our accounting team.
Key Responsibilities:-Process and post customer payments accurately
-Maintain precise records of receivable transactions
-Reconcile daily deposits and accounts receivable balances
-Track outstanding customer accounts, follow up on overdue balances, investigate and resolve any payment issues
-Maintain confidentiality of customer and financial information
-Work together with the different departments in the dealership
-Assist with month-end tasks including preparing and sending customer statements
-Complete other accounting and administrative duties as required Qualifications:
-Previous accounts receivable or accounting experience is preferred
-Automotive dealership experience is an asset
-Strong organizational and time-management skills
-Confident when working with numbers and financial records
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy
-Strong communication and customer-service skills
-Skilled in using Microsoft Excel
-Experience with dealership accounting software is an asset
-Able to work independently as well as thrive in a team environment
