In this role, you will independently provide accurate reporting, controls and analysis of derivative accounting specializing in Foreign Exchange and Interest Rate Market MTM (Mark to Market) valuation for financial reporting along with the swap settlement and counterparty portfolio reconciliations. Coordinate the subscriptions invoices/payments/budget. Preparation, modelling, measurement and reporting of financial risk for some exposures on a corporate consolidated basis. The consolidated risk reporting is provided to senior management to monitor compliance within Corporate Financial Risk Management Policies. What You Will Do:

• Independently prepare the compilation and analysis of monthly derivative valuations (interest rate, foreign exchange) ensuring accuracy for financial reporting and reconciling for Corporate Accounting entry

• Prepare monthly third-party financial settlement confirmations for interest rate and foreign exchange hedges working with Treasury and third-party counterparties vital to resolve related issues

• Coding and tracking of subscription payments including troubleshooting AP issues and vendor management

• Independently prepare internal reporting of derivatives and hedge accounting for management. This includes data gathering and heavy use of Excel to calculate, problem solve, verify and explain MTM movements

• Model, generate and analyze FX Cash Flow at Risk (CFaR) monthly for Risk Committee

• Provide support and assistance relating to audits, quarterly reviews, and Sarbanes Oxley requirements for the Company's hedging function

Who You Are:

• Related university degree (Finance or Accounting) and/or completion or near completion of a Financial professional designation (i.e., CFA or CPA)

• 2+ years directly related experience

• Strong financial modelling skills and data analysis techniques using Microsoft Excel and other automation tools

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with others to gather, analyze and understand unfamiliar data.

• A team player with demonstrative initiative and skills to prioritize multiple, changing priorities

• Proven written and oral communication skills; ability to explain financial results in operational terms

• Self-starter and self-motivated.

Preferred

• Experience with financial derivative markets, MTM and OpenLink (risk system)

• 2+ years of energy marketing middle/back office or equivalent proven experience is desirable
