We value, respect, and equally support applicants from these groups. **Your ‘day to day’ (Key Responsibilities)** * Build and manage relationships with key political stakeholders, including government officials, advisors, and relevant third parties, to advance regulatory and business objectives * Identify and engage influential stakeholders to shape regulatory and fiscal agendas * Monitor, analyze, and anticipate political and legislative developments to inform strategy and decision-making * Develop and execute stakeholder engagement and advocacy campaigns * Lead and develop a high-performing Government Relations and Regulatory Affairs team, fostering collaboration, capability building, and engagement * Ensure an effective organizational set-up, optimizing resources and driving performance * Ensure all activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and RBH & PMI policies and standards **WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR** We are seeking an experienced government relations leader with a proven ability to shape policy, influence stakeholders, and advance business priorities in complex, regulated environments. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in the Canadian political landscape, a track record of engaging senior government stakeholders, and the ability to translate business objectives into effective advocacy strategies. They are a credible and respected leader with strong political acumen, capable of leading high-performing teams and operating with integrity, sound judgment, and a strong compliance mindset. **Key requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Public Policy, Law, Political Science, or related field is an asset. * 8–12+ years of experience in government relations, regulatory affairs, or public policy * Proven track record of engaging and influencing senior government stakeholders * Strong understanding of Canadian political and regulatory environments * Experience developing and executing policy and advocacy strategies * Leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop teams * Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills * Experience in highly regulated industries is an asset **WHAT WE OFFER** * The opportunity to shape public policy and regulatory frameworks in a transforming industry * A collaborative, fast-paced, and international environment * Opportunities for career growth and development within a global organization * Competitive compensation, bonus, and benefits package * Flexible and inclusive work environment For this position, the salary starts at $215,600 CAD based annually You will also be part of an inclusive, diverse culture where everyone’s contribution is respected.
