About the Role
This is a hands-on support role focused on yard operations, equipment handling, parts transportation, shop organization, and fleet readiness. As a Shop / Yard Assistant with our Fleet team, you will:
- Clean and wash fleet vehicles, tools, equipment, and work areas;
- Safely operate a tele-handler and other equipment to move parts, materials, and vehicles around the yard;
- Assist in receiving, organizing, and transporting parts, supplies, and equipment;
- Perform general yard maintenance and housekeeping duties;
- Assist with shop organization, inventory, and material handling;
- Support fleet mechanics and shop personnel with non-technical tasks as required;
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
About You
- Reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented;
- Comfortable with physical work and machinery operation;
- Basic mechanical knowledge is helpful but not required;
- Willingness to learn;
- Experience using a tele-handler or similar machinery is a plus;
- Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a tidy workspace.
