Branch Administrator (Customer & Financial Support)

Position Overview

Arctic Inland Resources Ltd. is seeking a Branch Administrator (Customer & Financial Support) to join our Dawson City team.

This position plays a dual role within our small-branch environment. The successful candidate will support day-to-day financial administration while also serving as an active member of our front-line customer service and sales team.

This is not a back-office-only role. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to assist customers in a collaborative team setting.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales Support

• Provide front-counter customer service.

• Process sales transactions, quotes, and orders using our POS system (training provided).

• Answer phones and respond to customer inquiries.

• Assist contractors and retail customers with product information.

• Ensure all materials leaving the yard are properly invoiced.

• Maintain accurate transaction records.

• Handle customer concerns professionally and constructively.

Financial & Administrative Coordination (With oversight from Main Office)

• Process daily sales reports and balance POS transactions.

• Prepare daily bank deposits.

• Record and reconcile customer payments and charge accounts.

• Monitor overdue accounts.

• Verify supplier invoices against purchase orders.

• Forward accounts payable documentation to main office

.• Collect and submit employee payroll hours to the main office.

• Maintain organized financial and administrative records.

• Assist with preparing monthly customer statements.

• Support company credit policy procedures.

Operational Support

• Provide assistance with receiving shipments or organizing inventory.
• Support team members with light loading or customer pickup coordination when required.
• Maintain a clean and organized branch environment.

Qualifications
• Experience using accounting software and spreadsheets.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Customer service experience preferred.

• Knowledge of building supply or the construction industry is considered an asset.

• Willingness to learn Spruce Software System.
