We're currently seeking a seasoned professional to join us in the role of Senior Manager of Quality Control.

The Need

As we continue to expand our operations and uphold our commitment to delivering high-quality products to our clients worldwide, there is an increasing need for a dynamic and experienced leader to oversee our Quality Control department. The Senior Manager of Quality Control will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability, driving continuous improvement initiatives across all aspects of our quality management processes.

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance (QA) Oversight

- Lead the development and maintenance of a comprehensive Quality Management System, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.

- Oversee internal and external quality audits, fostering continuous improvement across all quality processes.

• Quality Control (QC) Leadership

- Collaborate closely with manufacturing leadership to enhance product quality while optimizing production schedules and budgets.

- Provide strategic direction to the Quality Team, overseeing all quality-related activities and initiatives.

• Supplier Quality Management

- Drive the development and implementation of supplier quality programs, aligning with organizational objectives.

- Establish and maintain offshore inspection processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.

• Customer Relationship Management

- Champion strong customer support and communication throughout all quality functions, ensuring customer satisfaction.

- Manage non-conformance reporting and resolution processes in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Budgeting and Financial Oversight

- Establish and monitor Quality department budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

- Provide input to Estimating on quality-related costs and requirements for accurate project planning.

• Leadership and Team Development

- Build and nurture a high-performing Quality team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

- Mentor and develop team members, equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary for success.

Requirements

• Qualifications

- Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in Quality Control within heavy industrial manufacturing, with a focus on pressure welding.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Quality Management, or related field.

- Relevant certifications and training in ASME BPV Code, Quality Assurance, welding, and NDT are highly desirable.

- Experience in international supplier management, particularly in regions such as China, Korea, or India.

- Proficiency in ASME BPV Code requirements and regulations.

• Physical Demands / Work Requirements

- Ability to work in a heavy industrial environment, involving standing, walking, climbing, and bending.

Travel Requirements

- Regular local and occasional international travel may be required for job site visits or supplier inspections.
