About the Role

StudyBuddy Canada Immigration Consulting is a fast-growing firm in North Bay helping Canadian businesses solve their biggest challenge: finding and retaining skilled talent. We specialize in foreign worker recruitment, LMIA applications, work permits, and immigration pathways that connect employers with qualified international candidates.

We are looking for a driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to grow our employer client base. You will be the first point of contact for businesses that are struggling to hire — and you will introduce them to immigration-powered workforce solutions that actually work.

This is a commission-only role with uncapped earning potential. The more clients you bring in, the more you earn.

What You’ll Do

• Identify and prospect North Bay and Northern Ontario businesses that have open positions or high turnover
• Reach out via cold calls, social media, community networking, and referral partnerships
• Build relationships with HR managers, business owners, and decision-makers
• Present StudyBuddy’s immigration and workforce solutions to prospective clients
• Close new client contracts and hand off to our consulting team for service delivery
• Develop referral partnerships with staffing agencies, chambers of commerce, and industry associations
• Track your pipeline and activities to meet monthly targets

Who We’re Looking For

• 1–2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a client-facing role
• Strong communicator — comfortable on the phone, in person, and online
• Self-starter who can work independently and hit the ground running
• Connected to the North Bay business community (an asset, not a requirement)
• Familiarity with immigration, HR, or recruitment is a plus but not required
• Bilingual (English/French or English/another language) is an asset given our multicultural client base

Earnings Potential

Our immigration consulting packages range from $1,500 to $5,000+ per client engagement. At 25% commission:

• 2 clients/month → $750 – $2,500+/month
• 5 clients/month → $1,875 – $6,250+/month
• 10 clients/month → $3,750 – $12,500+/month

Your income is in your hands.

Location

This is an in-person role based in North Bay, Ontario. You will meet with local businesses and attend community events as a representative of StudyBuddy.
