About the role
- We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with technical support experience in a hardware/software environment, excellent communication skills and who can work effectively independently and in a team environment.
What you'll do
- Assist Engineering department to conduct hardware/product validation
- Develop test procedures for new product development
- Test initial prototypes and other special handling activities
- Support Production Test and Marketing departments
- Troubleshoot hardware and software components
- Perform firmware verification testing
- Create custom application-specific configurations for customers by having a clear understanding of product features
Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of technical support experience in a hardware and software environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in technical reporting and customer interaction
- Work well independently and in team environments
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as J1939, CANopen, LIN, Ethernet is considered an asset
