Project Materials Coordinator

Job Responsibility:

The Project Materials Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating the distribution, and inventory of materials required for various projects. This role involves close collaboration with project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials. This role demands exceptional organizational skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and key stakeholders, guaranteeing that materials are always available when needed to keep projects on track.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the management of materials, ensuring timely delivery to meet project schedules.
• Work closely with project managers to understand material requirements and timelines.
• Develop and maintain relationships with other departments and branches to coordinate project through completion.
• Monitor and regularly update the status of all communications between customers and sales representatives regarding the project.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding material handling.
• Assist in the preparation of RMAs as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements and Skills:

• Highschool Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in materials coordination, project management, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of project timelines, material logistics, and adherence to schedules.
• Ability to collaborate with project managers and departments to develop effective plans and ensure timely delivery.
• Experienced in handling customer communications, working with sales teams, and ensuring smooth interactions between stakeholders.
• Knowledge of material handling procedures and company policies, ensuring compliance.
• Experience with RMAs and returns.
• Attention to detail in tracking and documenting materials.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and take on additional duties to support project completion.
• Proficiency in project management software, Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong verbal and written communication, organizational and time-management skills, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Team-oriented with a focus on achieving project goals collaboratively.
