Seasonal- Equiptment Operator

The RM of Lake Lenore No. 399 invites applicants to apply for the position of one full-time Equipment Operator. Start date is flexible approx. June 15, 2026, and will conclude approx. October 31, 2026. The position may be extended or shortened depending on weather conditions.

Primary duties will include:
Reporting to and taking direction from Supervisor and/or Administrator daily
Maintaining all designated roads in a timely fashion
Ensuring vehicles and equipment are operated in a safe manner
Maintaining daily log records of activities performed
Manual labour as required (sign installation, culvert installation and repair, shop and yard maintenance, etc.)
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or Administrator

Applicant must:
Possess a valid Class 5 drivers license with a clean driving abstract
Be able to lift up to 45 kg (100 lb)
Have good interpersonal, organizational, communication, and record-keeping skills
Be willing to be supervised by and take direction from Supervisor and/or Administrator
Be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
Have high attention to details with strong values rooted in health and safety

Experience in maintenance and operation of heavy equipment, a valid PME certificate, and a Class 1A or Class 3A drivers licence are considered asset and preferred.
