Position: Security Guard - Concierge - White Glove
Location: Downtown Toronto, ON (Yorkville area)
Payrate: $26.85 per hour
Status: Full-time
Shift: Swing/Rotational Shifts - Days, Evenings, Overnights. Rotational Swing Shifts (Mon,Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat & Sun )
Overview:
Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security Guard - Concierge to oversee one of our residential sites in Toronto. The ideal candidate is a seasoned individual with atleast 2 years of residential high end experience, excellent communication skills, willing to work night shifts, and able to work with a dynamic security team. If you have experience as in residential security, and can maintain a high level of professionalism, we'd like to hear from you.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years Experience in Concierge Security experience.
- Excellent customer service and written & oral communication is a must.
- Candidates must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Experience in hospitality is considered an asset.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and wireless technology.
- Must have a valid Ontario Security License .
- Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certificate is a must.
- Valid Driver's Licence is an asset.
- High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, occasionally climb stairs, and lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the designated area to monitor and ensure the safety and security of the premises.
- Maintain detailed records of patrols, documenting incidents, irregularities, and any equipment malfunctions.
- Communicate effectively with residents, property management, contractors, and other property staff.
- Maintain a professional attitude towards training and security protocols, including emergency response and communications.
- Address and resolve resident complaints, ensuring total client satisfaction.
- Support property management with any additional tasks as required.
